Israel Scholarship
Baden-Württemberg state scholarship
Since 1988, the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg has supplied the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts with scholarship funding in memory of the pogrom on 9th November 1938. These funds help to maintain and strengthen the German-Israeli partnership.
Financial Aid
Expected monthly scholarship payment:
- B.A.'s degree students: EUR 650
- M.A.'s degree students: EUR 750
- Young researchers (Master's degree required): EUR 850
Funding period: Duration of studies or internship: 1–7 months (including the examination period)
Prerequisites
For this scholarship, students are required to be enrolled at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design or the Beit Berl College in Israel.
Students eligible to apply are students with Israeli citizenship who wish to study abroad at the ABK Stuttgart as a part of our university partnerships with the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design or the Beit Berl College.

The curriculum vitae is to be set out in tabular form and should focus on personal development.
- Letter of motivation
The letter of motivation should detail the interest and motivation for the stay in Israel, personal achievements and aptitude as well as information on social commitment, willingness to take responsibility or notable social, family, personal or economical situations.
- Portfolio
The application must include a portfolio with the candidate's artwork.
- Letter of recommendation
The application must include a letter of recommendation from a professor.
The artworks, documents and certificates etc. in the application must be in A4 format and cannot contain original documents.
Application deadline
Applications for a study year are to be sent to the International Office of the ABK Stuttgart up until 31st August of the year before.
