Pitch deck, Fabian Holzwarth

A pitch deck in the business world is a short presentation which expresses your key visions and company at its best. In fact it should draw interest from people or investors to your work and should be convincing of your ideas. In relation to this, the series »pitch deck« is a presentation of photographs, who shows environmental destruction, the social expulsion and the general destruction of the Anthropocene.

The series is divided into two parts, »Ortschaft« is showing suburb areas in Germany which are facing destruction and displacement because of coal mining. In their expression slightly grey, they are dealing with desolation and deserted places. The other part »Landschaft« has much more colour and is focusing on the environment and the landscape of the mines around Cologne. On the one hand he pictures show the gigantic structures on the other hand the intensively destructive transformations of our planet.
