Research question:
How could the interchange between digital and analogue worlds create new materials and aesthetics based on textile weaves to make the space digital an analogue more comprehensible?
The unique movement of textiles, as a main character, is central and aimes to become digitally comprehensible.
The combination of digital image capturing and simultaneously movements of the textile creates unique pictures by a scanner and digital handcrafting.
The objective is to intertwine the worlds though textile and bringing both the analogue and the digital world closer together. The new interpretations of fabric are moving between (un-)comprehensible, new aesthetics.
This project originated a print collection for interiors. Some of them were printed with digital print on different fabrics (see captions/materials).
